Aloha zusammen!

Ein Freund von mir hat ein Problem mit dem Garmin Forerunner 201:

"Nachdem ich ihn beim Laden vom Stromnetz gezogen habe, piept er noch, aber das Display wird nicht mehr angesprochen (Beleuchtung geht)"

Hat jemand von euch eine Ahnung, was das sein könnte (auf LCD im Eimer bin ich auch schon gekommen ) und/oder ob das Gerät einen "All Reset" hat bzw. wie man den einleiten kann?

googlen mit +garmin +201 +reset

oder Auszüge davon:

"Please press and hold the 'Reset' button while powering on the unit to reset the unit."

alternativ:

"Turn the unit off. If you cannot turn it off, due to a "lock up", leave the system the drain the battery.
With the unit "OFF"
Press and keep holding the "MODE" button
Press and keep holding the "POWER" button
Release the "POWER" button
Release the "MODE" button
The unit will ask if you are sure you want to perform a full reset (you will loose all stored data)
Reply by pressing "ENTER" button.
The unit has now been reset."
